FAQ's

The following should answer some of your burning questions. If not, please leave a comment and I will answer them for you.

Why don’t you charge by the hour?

Researching takes time. If I am tackling a new product, a different genre, or an unfamiliar business, I can spend hours looking up information, besides the information provided by the client. I do not want to charge you for the extra time I spend researching your business. However, I do factor in research time into each project proposal. I aim to have a broad understanding of you and your business.

What is a multi-content creator?

This question was asked on LinkedIn. As a test, I asked Bing AI for an answer. I think it covered it. A multi-content creator is someone who produces different types of content for various platforms, such as social media, blogs, websites, videos, podcasts, etc. A multi-content creator may have skills in writing, editing, design, photography, video production, audio editing, and more. They may also specialize in a certain niche or topic, such as travel, fashion, gaming, or education. A content creator's job description may include the following responsibilities:

  • Creating engaging and original content for the company’s websites and social media pages and editing content for accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Researching and analyzing topics and trends relevant to the company’s audience and goals.
  • Collaborating with other content creators, marketers, designers, and stakeholders to plan and execute content strategies.
  • Measuring and reporting on the performance and impact of the content.

Can website content, blogs, and social media posts benefit my business?

These online resources provide a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and knowledge. The content should be interesting, informative, educational, providing value to your readers. Good content gives potential clients or customers a chance to know who you are, what the value is you provide for them. Besides the normal benefits and features section, updated information keeps people coming back to your site, even if they don’t use your services right away. Entertaining and fresh content can make you a person who gets referred to frequently. You need to produce online content if you want to stay fresh, current, and ahead of your competition! Whew!

How can I benefit from a one-on-one consultation?

Your business, questions, and concerns are uniquely your own. Your needs are best addressed when we are clear about what your goals are for the online content that is being produced for your business. A one-on-one consultation helps you define if you want to write your own content or hire us to do the timesaving work for you. Maybe you want to tackle writing content for your business. But you don’t know how to start. I can summarize your current content, including social media, sites, and any other information you provide to customers. I make suggestions appropriate to the goals of your business. After this consultation, you are free to use the information to create a comprehensive editorial calendar, create the content, post daily, weekly, or monthly while responding to inquiries. Or… we create time and value for you by doing the work.

What kind of content can I request?

I specialize in informative conversational content. I write articles in English, and each article should have at least 100 words to provide you with the most value. Other than that, order exactly what you need, from blog posts, articles, e-books to online courses.

Do you do all the writing?

Currently, I do most of the writing. However, I will hire a writer(s) if there is a project that a person who specializes in a genre would better serve, or there is a lot of content, and I can’t give you the time you deserve. I vet each writer, and I check all the work before I send it to you.

Does the writing on your blog represent your point of view or style?

Columns, essays, poetry, and some articles will be my point of view and style. Other writing represents a client's request. Some work is PLR (Private Label Rights) and generic in style. My aim is to present a range of styles that would meet your needs. If you like a particular style we can craft your content to match in style.

How can I be sure that the content will be well written?

Thorough research of your niche is primary before writing any articles. We use two grammar/writing programs to check all work. If hiring a writer, we run all content through a plagiarism program to make certain it’s not used elsewhere. Rewrites, edits, and updates are part of the service we provide. We strive to make all content error-free. Occasionally typos happen. I apologize for any right now.

Is it Ebook, eBook, ebook, or e-book?

Oh, boy… The entry in the OED spells it as an e-book. However, on the AskOxford site, it’s spelled ebook. Merriam-Webster favors e-book. The Chicago Manual of Style has the spelling e-book in its index. For SEO purposes, I use a variety of spellings on the website, not to torture people, but so any spelling will show up. When writing your content, we will stick to one style throughout.

So, what is this SEO you mentioned?

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a set of practices designed to improve the appearance and positioning of web pages in organic search results. In simple terms, it is how your content is discovered in Internet searches through the use of keywords, phrases that readers are looking for in their searches. You can spend so much time figuring that out or I can use my tools and save you time.
